Gloria Roberts, D.D.S.

DrRoberts_200x300Although an accomplished musician, Gloria Roberts chose to make dentistry and not music her “work”. She has graduated from the UMKC School of Dentistry twice – first as a member of the dental hygiene class of 1976 and then as a member of the dental class of 1988. She has practiced dentistry in the greater Kansas City area since 1988, for the first 10 years in the Brookside area and then in Overland Park, Kansas until the present time.

Dr. Roberts has been avidly involved in activities and organizations benefiting people with special needs. Dr. Roberts was the original Clinical Director for Special Smiles Kansas, a component of the Special Olympics program, Healthy Athletes. Dr. Roberts has served as the liaison for ASD to Special Olympics. She has been honored with the Arthur E. Iwersen Award for excellence in the field of pediatric dentistry as well as the Munksgaard International Award for excellence in the care and treatment of the geriatric patient.

Dr. Roberts has built Grace Dental to care for the entire life-cycle of the patients’ dentition. Dr. Roberts has been active with the Alice Barry Graham Board at Children Mercy Hospital and served in the past with the UMKC Dental School Recent Graduate Committee. She is a fellow and alumni member of the Chi Chapter of Xi Psi Phi dental fraternity.

Being the mother of two boys, Dr. Roberts became very involved with the Academy for Sports Dentistry. After many hours of community service, Dr. Roberts became a fellow with ASD, and has served on their board of directors.

Jordan Antonisse, D.D.S.

DrAntonisseDr. Jordan Antonisse was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She graduated with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry from East Central University where she also played for the Women's Soccer team. During a dental mission trip, Dr. Jordan fell in love with dentistry and the idea of being able to both serve and improve the quality of life in others. From then on, she made it her mission to become a Dentist. She went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. She practiced dentistry in Texas prior to moving to Kansas City with her husband, a fellow Baylor classmate of hers, who is currently pursuing a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at UMKC.

In her free time, Dr. Jordan enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog child Beasley. Her hobbies include traveling, reading, working out, and painting. She also volunteers her time to serve underprivileged populations at various dental mission clinics.
